What We Do

"We are dedicated to uplifting families affected by epilepsy—ensuring children and their caregivers find respite, connection, and hope."

WE BELIEVE

  • In offering opportunities that help lift the burden for families caring for children with epilepsy.

  • In the power of community, the power of understanding, and the power of support.

  • That providing families with a worry-free environment creates a crucial time for reflection, serenity, and rest from daily obstacles.

  • That connecting families with similar experiences can bring empowerment, therapy, and a renewed sense of possibility.

OUR CORE VALUES

  • How We Will Make a Difference

    • The Ruby Hills Foundation founders and board will raise funds to send Indiana families affected by epilepsy to the Center for Courageous Kids, a medical camp in Scottsville, Kentucky.

    • We will collaborate with individuals, communities, and organizations across Indiana to ensure 30 families can attend this annual family camp at no cost to them.

  • Inclusivity: We create an inviting environment where everyone’s voice is heard, and no one stands above another.

  • Empathy & Understanding: By listening to the needs of individuals, organizations, and communities, we take meaningful steps toward lasting solutions.

  • Kindness & Respect: We uphold these two attributes as the basis of our positive mission—ensuring every interaction fosters compassion.

  • Making a Difference: Every role, volunteer position, and opportunity within our organization, no matter how small, should focus on improving lives..
